Resolver Race ยท Last updated 8 August 2026
Resolver Race collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers operated by us. Everything the app measures stays on your device.
None. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any personal data, usage data, identifiers, or benchmark results.
To benchmark a resolver, the app sends ordinary DNS lookups from your device directly to the DNS servers being tested โ the same kind of lookup your phone already makes when you open a web page. Those lookups are for well-known public domain names and for randomly generated names used to measure uncached performance. The DNS operators you test receive these queries and handle them under their own privacy policies. We are not a party to that exchange and never see it.
Results, your resolver selections, and your settings are stored only on your device. Exporting results as a CSV file shares them only where you choose to send them.
The app does not use location services. It may ask for Local Network permission solely to test the DNS server your own network provides, which typically has a private address. Declining that permission simply omits that one entry from the results.
Resolver Race Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Whether the purchase is active is verified on your device through the App Store.
The app is suitable for all ages and, since it collects no data, it collects none from children.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date.
